This piece was born during a time when soft daydreams were coming true. I found myself constantly in motion - flying for work, for artistic fulfillment, for love, to and from my now-husband. It felt as though life was finally falling into place. Was it by design, by grace, or perhaps a bit of both?
While working on this piece, I kept thinking of the phrase, “ask and be prepared to receive.” It might not always arrive in the way we envisioned, but that’s the beauty of asking and staying open. What comes may not be what is wanted, but what is needed. We just have to be brave enough to seek and receive it.
